Jancey Colon is a U.S. Army veteran, registered nurse, and dedicated advocate for veterans and community health. He began his military service as an infantryman with the 25th Infantry Division in Hawaii, assigned to 2nd Battalion, 35th Infantry Regiment, and deployed to Afghanistan where he served as a team leader. His combat experience strengthened his leadership, discipline, and lifelong commitment to service.

After separating from the Army, Jancey pursued a career in healthcare, earning his Associate’s degree in nursing in Miami and later completing his Bachelor’s degree after relocating to New York City. He currently works as an infusion nurse in New York City, continuing his service through patient focused, mission driven care.

In addition to his clinical work, Jancey previously served as a veterans advisor with the College of Staten Island Veterans Office, where he supported fellow veterans in navigating VA benefits, educational resources, and the transition to civilian and academic life. As a board member of Faith and Honor, he brings a mission first mindset, practical leadership, and a deep commitment to serving those who have served.
